On May 18, 2017, the results of the Young Scientist Award Contest within the conference “Healthy woman — healthy newborn” were announced. The Contest is an annual tradition aimed to encourage young specialists for active participation in the research activities.
This year, 16 presentations were made in the following disciplines: cardiology, pediatric cardiology, neonatology, and pediatrics. The Award Committee members:
- Irina Leonova, Head of the Laboratory of diagnostics and treatment of children’s diseases
- Olga Irtyuga, Leading researcher of the Laboratory of cardiomyopathy.
The winners are:
1st place: Sergei Popov with the presentation “Multi-day telemonitoring in pregnant women with ventricular arrhythmias”
2nd place: Ekaterina Shelepova with the presentation “The role of vitamin D in preeclampsia pathogenesis” and Anna Yakovleva with the presentation “Surgical correction in newborn with a restrictive form of total abnormal drainage”.
3rd place: Dina Nugayeva with the presentation “Postoperative ectopic tachycardia in a child of the 1st month after the plastic surgery of ventricular septal defect”.
