On August 16, President of the National Medical Chamber Dr. Leonid Roshal and representatives of the Swedish Medical Association, headed by the SMA President Heidi Stensmyren visited the Centre.
Within the meeting, the details of the future cooperation agreement between the National Medical Chamber and the Swedish Medical Association were discussed.
The parties intend to develop effective forms of interaction with public authorities aimed at ensuring the quality of medical care throughout the territory of the parties and organizing information support and legislative initiatives to protect rights and interests of health professionals.
The plans to hold joint conferences on topical problems of healthcare for both public and professional discussion as well as to establish cooperation with scientific international medical associations were negotiated.
