On September 21-23, 2017 in the Almazov National Medical Research Centre was held the International symposium «Cardiology of today and tomorrow: prepared for the future». It was organized and promoted by the Foundazione Internazionale Menarini, Almazov Centre and Russian Society of Cardiology.
President of the Meeting was Prof. Evgeny Shlyakhto, General Director of the Almazov National Medical Research Centre, President of the Russian Society of Cardiology.
Symposium key topics were:
- International clinical recommendations
- Arterial hypertension and target organs
- Dyslipidemia and comorbidities. Changing the disease paradigm
- IHD and stable angina
- Heart failure

Nearly 500 physicians coming from 8 countries took part in this International symposium.
