Professor Evgeny Shlyakhto and Professor Fausto Pinto
On February 23, 2018, Director General of the Almazov Centre Professor Evgeny Shlyakhto and Academic Secretary Professor Alexander Nedoshivin visited Medical Faculty of the Lisbon University in Portugal. The program of their visit included signing the cooperation agreement and participation in the annual event of the Medical Faculty entitled New Frontiers in Cardiology 2018.
At the Portugal side, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Dean of the Medical Faculty Professor Fausto Pinto. The agreement is aimed at initiation of joint educational projects as well as scientific cooperation between the parties.
At the New Frontiers in Cardiology 2018 conference, the invited honorary lectures were presented:
- by Director General of the Almazov Centre Prof. Evgeny Shlyakhto: Translational research of the mechanisms of HF development,
- by Academic Secretary of the Almazov Centre Prof. Alexander Nedoshivin: Concept of value-based medicine in Cardiology.
