The annual ranking of healthcare facilities is based on the findings from a survey conducted among the chiefs of public clinics, doctors, officials and representatives of health insurance companies. The respondents are asked to select the top five city clinics in every specialty that they believe to be the best in treating particular diseases.
The respondents evaluate the professionalism of doctors, the possibility to obtain an adequate and sufficient volume of high-quality diagnostic testing (the necessary facilities and expertise of diagnosticians), the possibility to receive timely medical care and a favourable price/quality ratio (if necessary to pay for all or some types of medical care).
According to this year’s ranking, Almazov Centre is ranked first in instrumental examination and cardiovascular surgery and is among top five clinics for pediatrics and endocrinology.
