On June 21, Saint Petersburg hosted the First Clinical Laboratory Forum for laboratory medicine specialists.
In recent years, a lot of new and useful information has come out in the field of laboratory medicine. The attending doctor should arrange the examination plan, prepare the patient, receive biological material in accordance with the requirements of a particular laboratory. The translational nature of research provides the clinic with new diagnostic capabilities that progressively ramp up. In addition, high-tech diagnostic methods yield relevant information that must be properly understood and interpreted by clinicians. This knowledge should be presented, discussed, understood and put into daily clinical practice.
