Specialists from Almazov Centre took part in the 18th World Congress in Fetal Medicine (FMF World Congress 2019) that took place on June 25–29 in Alicante, Spain.
At the Congress, the leading international experts and young researchers presented and discussed the latest developments in fetal medicine. They also discussed the current issues of fetal therapy and surgery as well as new diagnostic techniques for the early prenatal diagnosis of abnormalities. A separate session was devoted to complications in monochorionic twins and surgical repair of spinal dysraphisms.
Two fetal surgeons from Almazov Centre took part in the Congress – Philipp Ovsyannikov and Valentina Tsibizova.
