On September 11, a delegation from the Nizhny Novgorod Region visited Almazov Centre. The delegation members were: Andrey Gneushev, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region; Elena Saksonova, Acting Health Minister of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and Anton Maksimov, Chief of the Specialized Cardiac Surgery Clinical Hospital.
Director General of Almazov Centre Evgeny Shlyakhto presented to the guests the activities of the Centre, its development strategy as a leading research and clinical facility providing high-tech medical care as well as a medical research and educational centre in Russia.
The guests toured the Centre and visited the hybrid and MRI operating rooms, ICU, telemedicine unit, Congress Centre, PET centre, NICU, labour and delivery department, simulation training unit, and Preclinical Translational Research Centre.
