On November 5, the delegation from the Qinghai Provincial Health Department (China) led by Chair of the Department Ma Zhong visited Almazov Centre.
The delegation members were: Tao Baozhong, Deputy Director of the Fourth People's Hospital of Qinghai Province, chiefs and deputy chiefs of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at Xining, Haidong, Haixi, Hainan, Haibei, Guoluo and Yushu.
Director General of Almazov Centre Evgeny Shlyakhto presented to the guests the activities of the Centre, its development strategy as a leading research and clinical facility providing high-tech medical care as well as a medical research and educational centre in Russia.
The guests toured the Centre and visited the clinical departments at the Main Clinical Facility. Dr. Alexei Yakovlev, head of the Research Laboratory for Acute Coronary Syndrome informed the guests about the process of organizing acute care to CVD patients and routing of patients with ACS.
The guests highly praised the clinical facilities of Almazov Centre and expressed their hope for further cooperation.
