On June 17–20, Russian experts took part in the 31st ESH European Meeting on Hypertension and Cardiovascular Protection which took place in hybrid format.

Director General of Almazov Centre Evgeny Shlyakhto co-chaired the morning session on the adverse impact of the environment and the target blood pressure (BP). Participants spoke about possible measures to achieve target BP at high altitudes, unfavorable temperatures, noisy and polluted environments.

Leading researcher of the Population Genetics Research Laboratory of WCRC for Personalized Medicine Oxana Rotar presented a clinical case of a 64-year-old patient with arterial hypertension, atrial fibrillation and asthma and explained the choice of antihypertensive therapy taking into account the comorbidities.

Three e-posters, all prepared under the supervision of Deputy Director General for Research Alexandra Konradi, were presented at the conference:
