On February 2, Sergey Kulikov, Chairman of the Board of RUSNANO Management Company visited Almazov National Medical Research Centre. Other accompanying guests were Ruslan Titov, Director General of the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs, and Sergey Ivanchenko, Director General of Medscan JSC. During the visit, the guests, together with Evgeny Shlyakhto, Director General of Almazov Centre, visited the Solnechny Biomedical Centre for Training and Research.
Anastasia Kirichenko, Director of the Preclinical Translational Research Centre, showed the guests around the Biobank facilities. Dmitry Kurapeev, Deputy Director General for IT and Project Management, spoke about a promising territory for the Demonstration Ground for innovative digital technologies.
Darya Ryzhkova, Chief Researcher at the Research Department of Nuclear Medicine and Theranostics of the Institute of Oncology and Hematology, showed the members of the delegation around the premises for the nuclear medicine reference centre. The guests also visited the educational buildings together with Galina Kukharchik, Dean of the Medical Faculty of the Institute of Medical Education.
The parties held a joint meeting to discuss possible formats for future cooperation in order to develop and introduce innovations. The meeting ended with the signing of a MoU on the launch of the Nuclear Medicine Reference Centre between Almazov Centre and RUSNANO Management Company.
