On April 19, 2014 joint meeting of the Turkish Society of Hypertension and Renal Diseases and Russian Society of Cardiology took place in Almazov Medical Research Centre.
39 Turkish cardiologists visited Almazov Centre to see its resources and discuss research work and treatment of arterial hypertension. Opening speeches were made by co-chairs of this session RSC Secretary General Professor Alexander Nedoshivin and Vice-President of Turkish Society of Hypertension Professor Yunus Erdem.
Professor Alexandra Konradi presented a report on study results on hypertension in Russia. Also there were illustrated resluts of the analogous study in Turkey, significance of pulse, heart rate and metabolical parameters in hypertension treatment. All presentations were followed by active discussion.
After the meeting guests made a visit to the Cardiology Department and Resuscitation Department.
