The aim of the Department of Internal Diseases is to prepare highly qualified specialists in different therapeutic areas. The Department conducts training in such specializations as:

  • Endocrinology
  • Diabetology
  • Pediatric endocrinology
  • Hematology
  • Rheumatology
  • Neurology
  • Functional diagnostics
  • Radiology
  • Physical therapy and sports medicine

The Department training focuses on the interdisciplinary knowledge and new methods of diagnostics and treatment. Specialists training is carried out with postgraduate education programs in internship, clinical residency, postgraduate, doctoral, as well as programs of additional professional education: professional training, certification training cycles, thematic improvement in the specializations.

The Department provides additional professional education programs, including the pilot project “Continuous Medical Education” in internal medicine and cardiology. The training is conducted with current guidelines, interesting master classes and clinical analysis demonstration.

The Department of Internal Diseases has highly qualified teaching staff with extensive experience in teaching and clinical work.
