In 2002 graduated from Pavlov State Medical University (Saint-Petersburg) with a degree in “General medicine” and then finished internship in “Internal medicine” in 2003.
Irina took some postgraduate courses in:
- “Clinical Electrocardiography”
- “Functional Diagnostics”
- “Transesophageal and endocardial pacing, management of patients with implanted devices”.
Since 2006 she holds the position of functional diagnostics doctor in Federal Almazov Medical Research Centre, and also a junior researcher of Research Laboratory for connective tissue disorders.
Irina Pankova is a member of the Russian Society of Cardiology.
Her research fields lay in features of myocardial repolarization and autonomic regulation in patients with hereditary connective tissue disorders.
