In 2001 graduated from Pediatric State Medical University (Saint-Petersburg) with a degree in “Pediatrics” and then finished residency.
In 2010 she defended PhD thesis in “Cardiology and pathological anatomy”, the theme “Role of connective tissue dysplasia in the formation of sclerodegenerative aortic valve lesions”.
In 2011 Svetlana took a postgraduate course in “Clinical Electrocardiography”, in 2013 – in “Therapy”.
Svetlana Khasanova is a member of the Russian Society of Cardiology, her research fields are diagnostics of hereditary connective tissue disorders and their relationship with sclerosis of degenerative aortic valve.
