She graduated from St. Petersburg State University, speciality “Genetics”. She also successfully defended her thesis on “Identification and characterization of chromosome regions homemade chicken and Japanese quail, orthologous genes enriched of human chromosome 3”.
From 2002 to 2007, Alexandra Klushina worked at the Biological Research Institute of St. Petersburg State University as a junior researcher. Since 2007 she has been working as a senior researcher at Federal North-West Medical Research Centre.
Research interests: osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, cardiomyopathy.
