Focus areas: study of the pathogenesis of inflammatory heart diseases and cardiomyopathies, pulmonary hypertension, acquired valvular and aortic disease, СVD in pregnancy.
1982 – graduated from the Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University with honors (General Medicine).
1982–1985 – clinical residency at the Faculty Therapy Chair of the Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University in Internal Medicine.
1985 – till now – working at Almazov Centre.
1992 – defended her PhD thesis on the topic “Active transport of cations and structural/functional properties of blood cells in AH course”
2004 – defended doctoral thesis on the topic “Cellular aspects of myocardial and vascular remodeling in AH”.
Since 2004 – Head of Non-Coronary Heart Disease Research Department of Almazov Centre.
In 2009 – Deputy Director for Research at the Heart and Vessels Institute, since 2018 – Director of the Heart and Vessels Institute.
