On October 6, the delegation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus visited Almazov Centre.
The delegation members were Head of the Department of Personnel Policy and Educational Institutions of the Belarusian Ministry of Health O.N. Kolyupanova; Head of the Main Department of Medical Care Organization of the Belarusian Ministry of Health A.A. Scherbinsky; Head of the Science Department of the Belarusian Ministry of Health M.O. Dosina and Rector of the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education A.N. Chukanov.
The guests visited the Solnechnoe Scientific and Educational Biomedical Centre with Biobank and toured the scientific and educational facility. The members of the delegation also visited Preclinical and Translational Research Centre as well as the Institute of Medical Education with its simulation training centre and the Boiling Point coworking space. In the main building, the guests visited the analytics and situation centres, a hybrid operating room, ICU and the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics.
Almazov Centre was represented by Director General Evgeny Shlyakhto, First Deputy Director General Mikhail Karpenko, Deputy Director General for Research Alexandra Konradi and Director of the Institute of Medical Education Elena Parmon. At the joint meeting, the participants discussed the issues of personnel training, postgraduate education and research.
Members of the delegation highly praised the facilities at Almazov Centre and expressed their hope for further cooperation.
