Amyloidosis Group
The Group focuses on studying the prevalence and etiopathogenetic mechanisms of amyloidosis in order to improve the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
Major focus and ongoing projects:
- Developing algorithms for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with various forms of cardiac amyloidosis
- Creating the biomaterial and patient data bank
- Analyzing the morphological features of changes in the myocardial stroma in various forms of amyloid disease
- Studying the features and patterns of fibrillogenesis of amyloidogenic proteins and assessing the influencing factors
