On November 21-24, 2016 General Director of the Almazov Centre Prof. Evgeny Shlyakhto took part in the WHO 9th Global Conference on Health Promotion in Shanghai (China). Following the invitation of the Organizing Committee he presented a talk entitled «Patient-oriented approach as a tool to decrease cardiovascular mortality». The Conference was a tremendous success, attended by over 1200 key stakeholders from 129 countries. The Shanghai Declaration on promoting health in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was adopted on 21 November 2016.
