Representatives of the Almazov Centre Volunteer Association «Only by Heart» Olga Nalobina, Head of Volunteering and Tolerance Committee within the Young Scientists and Student Council of the Center, and Dmitry Ovchinnikov, Chairman of Young Scientists and Student Council, took part in the II All-Russian Forum of Medical Volunteers.
The 3rd prize in the poster session exhibition was taken by the project presented by the Almazov Federal Center «Colors of Spring». Its main idea was assistance in solving the problem of social maladjustment that occurs in children undergoing long-term treatment at the Department of Oncohematology. The project included development and holding a campaign aimed at collecting stationery for children creativity event «Let’s help children to colour the spring», the contest of children's drawings «Beauty Spring», and an exhibition of children's drawings. Every little one was awarded with a prize. The project was successfully carried out due to the active participation of volunteers with the support of the Almazov Federal Centre’s administration.
The three-day forum brought together 300 participants from 72 regions of the Russian Federation.
