On June 1, Governor of Bryansk Region Alexander Bogomaz paid an official visit to Almazov Centre. The Governor came together with Chairman of the Regional Duma Valentin Subbot, deputies Gennady Lemeshov and Vladimir Reunov, Head of the Central Office of the Regional Duma Evgeny Bobovsky and Head of Information Office Yulia Starovoitova.
During the meeting, the guests learned about the facilities of Almazov Centre. The meeting was attended by Director General of Almazov Centre Evgeny Shlyakhto, First Deputy Director General Mikhail Karpenko, Deputy Director General for Research Alexandra Konradi, Deputy Director General for IT and Project Management Dmitry Kurapeev, Chief of the Clinic Irina Strizhak, Director of the Medical Education Institute Elena Parmon and Academic Secretary Alexander Nedoshivin.
The members of the delegation toured the Centre and visited a hybrid operating room, telemedicine unit, PET Centre and ICU.
At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed the prospects for further effective cooperation.
