On November 15, Polenov Neurosurgical Institute (branch of Almazov Centre) hosted the Workshop on Early Rehabilitation Methods in a Neurosurgical ICU.
The workshop was delivered by experts working in the neuro-ICU and neurosurgery clinic with patients in the early stages of treatment. The speakers shared practical experience and answered questions about the timing of treatment and possible contraindications. Also discussed were aspects of prophylaxis and tactics in the ICU.
The workshop provided a detailed understanding of early rehabilitation methods in a neurosurgical ICU. The event was of interest to medical professionals working in this field – doctors of physical and rehabilitation medicine, physiotherapists and intensive care physicians, methodologists, exercise therapy instructors and doctors, massage therapists and physiotherapy nurses.
