The conference includes scientific sessions of the Institute of Translational Medicine (the project of University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics and Federal Almazov North-West Medical Research Centre) in conjunction with the St. Petersburg State Chemical-Pharmaceutical Academy, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University.
On 28 October 2015, the scientific session of the Scientific and Educational Cluster “Translational medicine” will be held. It includes round tables “Current regulatory requirements for translational research of drugs and medical devices” and “Scientific- organizational and ethical questions of translational research” during which we will discuss the most interesting issues of the organization and implementation of pre-clinical and clinical studies, ethical support, accreditation of institutions implementing pre-clinical studies, clinical trials of biological agents, as well as new educational programs in the field of Pharmaceutical Medicine with the participation of Regulators and Expert councils, pharmaceutical manufacturers, contract research organizations, ethical committees, clinical and preclinical studies specialists.
The scientific session will provide the seminar “Modern bioinformatics for the actual problems of biology and medicine”.
