On July 7–8, the city of Shenyang in China hosted the first Northeast International Forum of Anesthesiologists and Perioperative Specialists.
The Forum brought together more than a thousand doctors from northeastern provinces of China and Inner Mongolia as well as the experts from Japan, South Korea, Mongolia and Russia.
Prof. Vadim Mazurok, head of the Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Chair, represented the Almazov Centre at this Forum. He gave a presentation on the enteropathies of critical conditions and the enteral oxygen therapy as a possible method for the prevention and management of severe intestinal failure in patients. The presentation aroused a genuine interest among the audience. Besides, the attendees showed great interest in the research, educational and clinical facilities of the Centre.
