We are delighted to invite you to join us for our Saint Petersburg School of Arrhythmology 2021 taking place on 29 – 29 October. This year’s 9th edition of the All-Russian School of Arrhythmology with international participation will be dedicated to the theme “New Forms of High-Tech Medical Care 2021.”
Diverse topics of cardiovascular surgery to be covered include:
- Modulation of cardiac contractility
- Endovascular left atrial appendage (LAA) closure
- Transvenous extraction of endocardial leads
- Surgical treatment of CHF in children
Discussions will be centered on the topical issues of modern arrhythmology, including various aspects of diagnosis, non-surgical and interventional approaches to the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and conduction disorders.
Plenary and breakout sessions, workshops and round tables will focus on the following topics:
- Modern approaches to sudden death prevention
- Innovative arrhythmology
- Problems and prospects of pediatric cardiology and arrhythmology
- Aspects of anticoagulant and antithrombotic therapy
- Pathology issues of cardiovascular diseases
The School will feature live surgery to broadcast implantation of pacemaker / ICD / CRT devices and catheter ablation of various tachyarrhythmias in adults and children, lectures, workshops and symposia on new technologies for arrhythmia treatment, practical courses on programming of implanted devices. The Simbionix training simulator will be used to gain practical skills in cardiac catheterization.
This 2021 edition will place special emphasis on hands-on experience, discussion and lecture course. The course is devoted to the new types of high-tech medical care included in the state guarantee program of medical care in cardiovascular surgery: transvenous extraction of endocardial leads, modulation of cardiac contractility, endovascular LA appendage occlusion and surgical treatment of CHF in children.
